Shop Helper/Driver

Gordie's Auto & Tire is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Shop Helper/Driver to join our team! In this dual-role position, you will assist our technicians in various shop tasks and provide shuttle services to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry while contributing to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist automotive technicians with repairs, maintenance, and organization of the shop.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in the shop to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Safely transport customers to and from our shop, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
• Fulfill other tasks as assigned to support shop operations effectively.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Strong willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to lift and carry light objects and assist in shop-related tasks.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems is a plus, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
