Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Maryland
Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 per year
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Position Overview:
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, performing physical exams, prescribing medications, and supporting the overall health and wellness of our patients. This is a rewarding opportunity to practice autonomously while being supported by a collaborative team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments
- Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on preventative care and health maintenance
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR system
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland (required)
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- National certification (AANP or ANCC)
- DEA license or eligibility to obtain
- Excellent communication and clinical skills
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine
