Job Description

We are looking for individuals who have detailed functional knowledge and understanding of managing assets and portfolios and experience leading teams to oversee residential maintenance work orders.  You will have a track record of providing exceptional customer service and expertise in determining and arranging for the execution of necessary repairs to ensure homes meet company standards and creating a safe and enjoyable habitat for tenants.  A key objective is to ensure your team delivers on or exceeds company and departmental KPI’s.

Please note: This position is based in our office in Dallas, TX - It is not a field maintenance position.

The Role:   Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Represent the Company in a professional manner as the point of contact for resident service requests in all markets
  • Supervise and lead the maintenance dispatch team for your assigned region
  • Conduct onboarding and recurring training for new and current staff
  • Ensure your dispatch team meets timelines, cost and quality KPIs of all work orders
  • Prepare regular reports for management with budgets, and performance of region
  • Work with supply chain teams to increase the vendor base in all markets where needed
  • Partner with Field Maintenance Managers to align on field staff KPIs on a weekly basis
  • Enforce all high urgency/priority and safety regulations for all work orders
  • Manage and oversee all Escalations maintenance work orders within your region
  • Oversee all staff responsibilities
  • Drive internal field performance by assigning 70% of Work Orders to field staff
  • Projects and additional duties as requested

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in single family maintenance or Multi-family maintenance
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service and call center management
  • At least 1 year of team supervision, including demonstrable experience in training and coaching
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required and familiarity with property management/CRM systems is highly desirable
  • Certifications and licenses (EPA certified, Lead and Asbestos) are advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage and deliver on multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, and excellent time management
  • Collaborative, team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude

Additional Information:

  • The role will require routine use of standard office equipment and computers
  • Standard workdays are Monday through Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours
