THE JOB:
The Information Security Engineers plays a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining technical solutions that support the organization's long-term security strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that transform threat intelligence and vulnerability data into actionable insights and effective remediation efforts across the enterprise. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and organizational leadership to ensure comprehensive visibility into the current threat landscape, enabling informed decision-making and rapid, coordinated responses to emerging security challenges.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Manage deployment, operation, and maintenance of security platforms and tools across on-premises and cloud environments.
Provide best practice recommendations for configuration and operations in collaboration with business units.
Collaborate with Cyber Defense teams on analysis of anomalous or threat-related activity.
Regularly assess tool functionality against business needs and industry/security best practices.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations and system interdependencies.
Foster strong partnerships with business, product, and technology teams to align security efforts with strategic goals.
Promote a high-performance work environment focused on client service, teamwork, recognition, and diversity.
Stay current with security technologies and threat trends relevant to the organization's investments.
Execute timely notifications to internal and external teams based on alert priorities and escalation protocols.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in information security, vulnerability management, or incident response, plus experience in IT or intelligence.
Industry certifications such as AZ-500, CISM, CISSP, OSCP, CEH, or SANS.
Skilled in network, infrastructure, and cloud security controls, with scripting/programming experience (PowerShell, Python).
Strong knowledge of endpoint, network, and cloud security solutions and architectures.
Proven ability to design, manage, and analyze complex security systems and large datasets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for briefing leadership.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative across teams.
Maintains documentation, assesses tools, investigates threats, and manages alerts and escalations.
Fosters a culture of teamwork, recognition, and continuous improvement.
