We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Acquisition Accounting Clerk to support our dealership's accounting operations. In this role, you'll play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthly closings, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. What You'll Do:

• General Ledger & Month-End Close

• Record monthly journal entries and perform general ledger account reviews and reconciliations.

• Complete monthly checklists, workpapers, and deferred revenue calculations.

• Conduct month-end expense analysis to ensure accuracy.

• Financial Reporting & Tax Support

• Assist in preparing lot income statements and other financial reports.

• Submit tax payment details and manage payment coupons for timely processing.

• Accounts Payable & Deposits

• Process and manage vendor payments and reconcile deposits.

• Special Projects & General Support

• Perform general office duties as needed.

• Assist with special accounting projects as assigned by the leadership team.

• Culture & Compliance

• Uphold company policies, ethics, and standards.

• Ensure regular attendance to support time-sensitive financial operations.

What You'll Bring:

• A strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software preferred.
