Job Description

Summary: Staff designated at Dickinson Wright PLLC (“the Firm”) as Marketing Assistants are responsible for providing support on a wide‐range of internal and external marketing initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities of staff designated as Marketing Assistant at the Firm include but are not limited to:

  1. Work closely with the marketing team’s current social media and content team members to support our social media and content strategies, as well as various other marketing initiatives;
  2. Assist with social media and website content;
  3. Communicate with lawyers and firm staff to complete assigned projects that are often due on a quick deadline basis;
  4. Gather data on marketing initiatives and collect feedback;
  5. Create reports on marketing performance;
  6. Maintain schedules for marketing initiatives;
  7. Assemble, organize and manage marketing collateral;
  8. Assist with PowerPoint presentations and Excel reporting documents;
  9. Other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities Required:

Marketing Assistants must:

  1. Possess 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a service industry environment;
  2. Possess strong analytic, writing and communication skills;
  3. Possess strong attention to detail, with a high level of focus;
  4. Be proficient in both PC and Mac platforms, in addition to having expert‐level skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel);
  5. Possess an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent education;
  6. Work effectively both independently and as a member of a collaborative team;
  7. Possess the ability to maintain success in managing multiple tasks and priorities;
  8. Be willing and able to sit at a desk/computer for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:

Normal law office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, temperature.
