Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a dynamic, service-focused environment. The IMB is seeking a Conference Services Specialist to help create seamless and welcoming experiences for our guests. In this hands-on role, you'll be essential in preparing meetings spaces, coordinating logistics, and supporting the behind-the-scenes operations that make our events run smoothly. Location: Rockville, VA
Rate: Commensurate with experience + great benefits!
Responsibilities:
Set up conference rooms and classrooms for both internal and external events at the International Learning Center (ILC), ensuring proper arrangement of tables, chairs, flipcharts, whiteboards, dry erase markers, and other required materials
Maintain clean, organized, and presentable meeting spaces at all times
Access and interpret room setup details using the reservation system
Oversee the maintenance and scheduling of the golf cart fleet
Provide support for conference preparation tasks, including processing background checks, creating weekly meeting room signage, and inputting data into the reservation system
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of relevant experience
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Flexibility in schedule and responsibilities
