Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Provide weekly analysis with insights, actions and impacts
Utilize data visualization to tell the story in a meaningful and understandable way
Understand business objectives to generate project information, action items, schedule, and deliverables for the Walmart merchant team
Assist the line review process with data to make recommendations on optimal assortments, planogram space allocation and flow
Monitor content shifting and the associated trends reflected in the marketplace
As a category analyst you will play a critical role in supporting the category advisor team and building a strong partnership with Walmart
Keep abreast of customer KPIs, strategies, and other important information
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Needed:
Experience in Data Analytics
Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to solve problems utilizing data
Able to work independently in a remote work setting as well as interact with others and work effectively within a team
Good planning and organizing skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Availability in Central Time Zone with flexibility based on business needs
