Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time (0.9 FTE) Emergency Department Technician to work night shift! This is your opportunity to provide care to patients while doing the work you love as part of the Whitehall Emergency Department and Ambulance Crew.

What you will do:

  • Work 0.9 FTE (72 hours/2 weeks), night shift, every 3rd weekend, and rotating holidays

  • Deliver patient care in an emergent situation in the Emergency Department and Ambulance Setting.

  • Assist with local 911 runs as well as transfers to local and regional hospitals

  • Assist in the ER with tasks delegated by RN.

What do you need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency

  • EMT-Basic or higher with at least 1 year of prior EMT or direct patient care experience desired

  • Valid Driver's License

  • BLS CPR for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Valid certified emergency vehicle operator (CEVO or EVOC) within 1 year of hire
