As a Mental Health Advocate, you will be work within out PACT program located in Cherry Hill, Camden County NJ.
Responsibilities:
- A fully integrated member of the PACT team who provides clinical assessment, service planning, wellness counseling, case management and associated documentation as required to meet client needs. The MHA focuses on advocating for service needs and coordinating entitlements and benefits.
- Provides clinical assessment, service planning, wellness counseling, case management and associated documentation as required to meet client needs;
- Focuses on advocating for service needs and coordinating entitlements and benefits;
- Locating safe and affordable housing for individuals served, coordinating housing subsidy process with individuals served, landlords, DMHAS, and Supportive housing connection;
- Managing representative payee duties which may include support to social security, budget development in accordance with individual needs and social security practices, working with Oaks Integrated Care accounting department to coordinate funds for individuals served;
- Providing support to Vocational Specialist on team to create opportunities for individuals served to work, volunteer, or return to school.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in behavioral health science plus two years post-bachelor's experience in provision of mental health services is required.
