Operating from our Missouri City Clinic (3021 Texas Pkwy.), you're positioned at the heart of patient care, where your abilities in both English and Spanish will guide patients through essential eligibility processes, ensuring seamless access to healthcare programs without alternative payer sources.
Beyond eligibility determination, you will immerse yourself in innovative data systems, ensuring patient records are accurately managed and initial healthcare engagements are efficiently coordinated. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a collaborative team environment that champions growth and innovation while balancing traditional values of empathy and genuine patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine patient's eligibility for third-party reimbursement, ensuring compliance with program-specific guidelines.
- Process and efficiently manage data for new patient admissions into the CPCDMS, completing all requisite paperwork accurately.
- Coordinate and set initial service appointments, facilitating smooth patient entry into care programs.
- Ensure proper coding for insurance billing to support seamless financial operations.
- Handle inquiries from both prospective applicants and existing patients, providing clear and helpful guidance.
- Participate in all required safety and educational programs, staying informed about best practices and innovations in healthcare management.
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.
- Preferred experience of 3 - 5 years in Medical Billing, enhancing the quality of service delivery.
- Experience with ICD-A or CPT codes is advantageous, ensuring accurate insurance claims processing.
