Job Description

Las Vegas Petroleum is a premier retailer in the fuel and convenience store industry, recognized for our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. With multiple locations in the Las Vegas area, we strive to deliver an excellent experience to our customers every day. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager for our Rainbow and Oquendo location to lead our team and oversee daily operations.

Job Summary:

The Store Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Rainbow and Oquendo store, ensuring exceptional customer service, optimizing sales, and leading a dedicated team. You'll play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, including inventory management, cash control, and store cleanliness.
  2. Leadership Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff to create a strong team culture focused on service excellence.
  3. Customer Focus: Ensure that the store provides high-quality service and handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement promotional initiatives to drive sales and increase store performance.
  5. Financial Management: Analyze sales reports, monitor expenses, and ensure that the store operates within budgetary guidelines.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies to create a safe environment for both employees and customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in retail management or a related area, with a preference for convenience store experience.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and retail management software.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to operate store equipment, including registers and safety systems.
