POSITION TITLE: Game Technician - Warehouse & Route Operations
STATUS: Non-Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Director Of Operations
Pay Rate: $17-$20 /Hour
We’re looking for a Game Tech to be the hero behind the scenes—repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing our arcade games and attractions. Whether it’s in our warehouse or on the road to our street route locations, you’ll keep the fun running smoothly and ensure guests are greeted with working games and non-stop smiles.

Role Description:
The Game Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing arcade games and attractions both in our warehouse and throughout our street route locations. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to ensuring high-quality guest experiences through reliable equipment.
- Diagnose and repair arcade and redemption game malfunctions in the warehouse and at route locations.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all gaming equipment.
- Troubleshoot both hardware and software issues using schematics, manuals, and testing tools.
- Repair, refurbish, and stage equipment for deployment from the warehouse.
- Travel to off-site locations to support the street route operation, including emergency repairs.
- Install, remove, and transport games and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate service logs, repair records, and inventory tracking.
- Ensure cleanliness and professional organization of the warehouse and technical workspace.
- Collaborate with technicians and operations staff to ensure effective communication and streamlined maintenance efforts.
- Train new team members and provide guidance to entry-level technicians when needed.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
- Familiarity with multimeters, soldering, and hand tools
- Basic computer/networking knowledge; experience with EMBED systems is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Safety-focused mindset
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
- Prior experience in the amusement or arcade industry preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically active environments
- Willingness to travel as needed for service calls and installs
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays
- Able to work in loud, flashing-light environments
