Job Description:
Job Summary
Incumbent will work with the "NSF RII Track I: Louisiana Materials Design Alliance (LAMDA)" project. One of the two Science Drivers of the LAMDA project is on new thermoset shape memory polymers for structural applications assisted by machine learning.
Job Responsibilities
60% Publishing peer reviewed journal papers in the area of polymers and polymer composites;
20% Writing collaborative research proposals with topics on multifunctional polymer composites;
15% Assisting in advising graduate and undergraduate students.
5% Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D., one year of experience in advanced knowledge in polymer chemistry and polymer physics
