The position requires applying the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing, coordinating, and supervising care while keeping patients informed. Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members is key to enhancing patient care and education.

Strong customer service skills are essential, with an emphasis on positive interactions, problem-solving, and contributing to team success. Professional development is encouraged through ongoing education and skill enhancement to stay current in nursing practices.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Valid license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing in Louisiana.
• American Heart Association, BLS-HCP.
