GENERAL DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE
Provides excellence in service for guests while on property, responding to guest inquiries and needs. Follows brand standards at all times. Conduct that demonstrates commitment and dedication to our company values is expected at all times.
COMPANY GENERAL POLICY AND PROCEDURE
Attendance: Is punctual and present. Will request time off in accordance with policy. Will document time worked and reasons for tardiness/absence or leaving early according to office policy.
Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES
Greet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgement. Provide customer service to guests, including information about resort services, activities and local attractions.
Cleans rooms, including but not limited to stripping dirty linens, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, washing dishes, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and counters and moving furniture. All work must be completed within an allotted time frame in order to meet production standards.
Reports deficiencies in order to maintain room in compliance with resort standards.
Replenish linen and guest amenities.
Assist co-worker as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Customer Service
Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact and a friendly verbal greeting using the guest's name when possible.
Responds promptly to customer and coworker needs and continually strives to improve service.
Respond to requests for service and assistance.
Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience preferred but not required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to communicate effectively with guests in English
Ability to understand simple instructions
Ability to perform routine work or the same task over and over again
Ability to learn, follow and enforce standards for cleanliness as they apply to all aspects of the rooms
Must be flexible with demands from the guests and for the business needs.
Must be able to work in a fast paced and stressful environment
The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays and special events as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and use hands and fingers, handle, type, or feel. The employee is required to stand for an 8-hour shift; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull cart over 200lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Physically able to move furniture and work with general cleaning chemicals
Machines/Equipment Used
Any equipment needed to perform the required job tasks with proper training.
Environmental Conditions
Indoor climate-controlled environment; occasional exposure to humidity, cold/heat, dust and noise; occasional exposure to outdoor climate. Moderate to quiet noise level.
