Position Profile
Weaver is seeking a Payment Card Industry (PCI) Services Senior Associate or Supervisor to join our growing firm. This position is responsible for day-to-day project management of 1-6 concurrent engagements. Project management responsibilities include project planning, execution of engagement objectives, daily interaction and communication with client personnel, and performing the initial review of Associate workpapers. This role requires the ability to supervise teams of 1 - 5 staff members on multiple concurrent engagements to ensure they receive feedback, direction, and resources in the event engagement issues arise.
This requires a thorough understanding of the IT compliance regulations such as PCI DSS. This position should have an advanced understanding of information technology concepts, including both traditional and cloud computing.

The ideal candidate is a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity.
To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor's degree in Management/Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3 - 5 + years experience in IT audit or IT compliance
- Thorough understanding of general IT security practices, including firewalls, logging, intrusion detection/prevention, anti-malware, and vulnerability management.
- Thorough understanding of cloud computing and containerization technologies
- Effective time and project management skills
- Strong IT and security solution research skills
- Keen attention to quality and accuracy within your work products
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exposure to payment card industry regulations
Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Master's degree or further education in information systems or cybersecurity is preferred
- CISA, CISM, CISSP, PCIP, and/or related certifications are preferred
- Cloud Service Provider Architect certifications a plus
- IT and security research skills
