The Opportunity:
CACI has an immediate opening for a Logistics Specialist (JOPES Manager) in support of our mission critical government client located in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Logistics Specialist, you will provide planning services to enhance readiness, inform decision-makers, test capabilities, and improve coordination among USINDOPACOM and its mission partners. These planning services may vary widely in scope, objectives, and participants depending on the mission partner(s) and logistical priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities include coordination and execution of deployment/redeployment/rotation of forces using JOPES.
- Maintain technical expertise and a detailed working knowledge of the JOPES database and supporting systems, command roles and relationships, Joint and component policy, operational procedures, directives, communications and related ADP specifications, files, applications and capabilities that directly support DoD-wide time-sensitive planning for development and execution of contingency and crisis action planning.
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) and civilian staff authority on the use of the automated planning processes in JOPES and related planning and deployment execution systems.
- Provides essential continuity in analysis and implementation of progressive improvements to USINDOPACOM and component command control procedures and methods.
- Extracts critical information from global force management (GFM) systems and manage rotational and emergent requirements in JOPES.
- Perform as a member of joint planning groups (JPG) and operational planning teams supporting crisis operations. Provides continuous review, analysis and monitoring of programs, policy, guidance and systems administration.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to functional elements outside the mobility division, JOPES operations, including future planning elements involved in the development, planning and reporting of movement requirements.
- Assesses requirements for and participate in the development of computer programs to satisfy unique user requirements. These include data retrieval, manipulation and input utilities. Assesses impact of changing technology on current and future planning system applications and serves as subject matter expert for the next generation of the global command and control system (GCCS) and JOPES systems as they are developed, tested and fielded.
Qualifications:
Required:
Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
Minimum of 10 years experience in logistical planning and executing Joint Logistics support
Bachelors Degree
Must be self-motivated and operate efficiently and effectively without direct supervision in joint and interagency environments while maintaining communication with and responsiveness to the client.
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
Be deployable to the required theater of operations, usually conducting periodic travel within CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Desired:
Professional military education; intermediate or higher-level service Staff College.
More than five (5) years of experience working in a Joint Staff or Geographic Combatant Command environment.
Recent experience supporting USINDOPACOM.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$90,200 - $198,600
