Position Summary:

Kemper is seeking a FNOL Team Manager for the Henderson, NV office. In this position you will supervise a unit of FNOL Supervisors and Representatives including delegation of authority and disposition of assigned claims.

Position Responsibilities:

• Monitors employee performance and ensures that performance in all areas, including closure ratios and departmental goals are achieved via personal observation, file reviews, and audits.
• Prepares and submits management reports on a timely basis.
• Builds a high performing, results-oriented staff, assists with employee on-boarding, ongoing development, and managing individual performance through on-going coaching focused on competencies and technical skills

Position Qualifications:

• A minimum of three (3) years of claims handling or one (1) year FNOL outbound supervisory experience required. BS or BA college degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred. High School diploma required.
• Demonstrated initiative, leadership, independent decision-making skills, strong technical skills, and the ability to handle increasing responsibility.
• Ability to review and handle claims via on-line claims system.
• Must apply for and possess, on a timely basis, all applicable licenses required by assigned state(s).
• Primarily a stationary job that requires constant typing and frequent repetitive hand motion.
• Must have the ability to work effectively amid constant interruptions.
• Travel may be required with little prior notice.
• Varying workload and work hours based on deadlines and departmental needs.
• Must deal tactfully and diplomatically with agents, insureds, claimants, attorneys, callers and visitors. Must have a high degree of tolerance and excellent time management skills.
• The range for this position is $68,000 to $113,400. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors. This job is eligible for Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
