Job Description
This fast-growing security technology firm is reshaping how businesses think about safety and crime prevention. By combining intelligent surveillance hardware, AI-powered monitoring, and live human intervention, they deliver proactive security solutions that stop threats before they escalate. Their national infrastructure supports rapid deployment and reliable service across multiple industries—especially where site protection is mission-critical, such as multifamily housing, construction, warehousing, and retail. Unlike legacy systems that simply record footage, their platform intervenes in real time to actively deter crime.
We're seeking a driven Senior Sales Executive to manage and expand our client base across New Jersey—starting with Northern NJ and growing throughout the state. This is not a ground-up cold calling role. You'll inherit a pipeline of warm accounts and existing relationships and will be responsible for deepening those engagements through cross-selling and upselling. Your primary targets will include multifamily property managers, real estate developers, and construction leads—people who value responsiveness, trust, and turnkey protection. If you come from an account management or consultative sales background and know how to build long-term value with clients, you'll thrive here. Previous experience in the security industry is helpful but not required; what matters most is your ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions that protect their people, property, and peace of mind.
Responsibilities:

Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing accounts with a strong focus on retention, upselling, and expanding service adoption.

Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers in multifamily property management, real estate development, and commercial sectors.

Conduct in-depth needs analysis for clients to recommend custom security solutions combining hardware, AI-driven monitoring, and live guard services.

Lead the full sales cycle for expansions, renewals, and new service introductions, from discovery through negotiation to closing.

Deliver engaging product demonstrations, clearly articulating the value of real-time AI monitoring, live intervention, and law enforcement collaboration.

Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure smooth onboarding, installation, and ongoing client satisfaction.

Track and report sales activity, pipeline, and forecast accurately to management.

Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and maintain competitive positioning.

Develop territory plans to systematically expand coverage beyond Northern New Jersey as business grows.

Provide exceptional client support post-sale, ensuring continuous engagement and quick resolution of any issues to minimize churn.
Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales or account management with a track record of managing and growing existing B2B accounts.

Demonstrated success in upselling and cross-selling services to maximize account revenue and customer lifetime value.

Strong familiarity with multifamily housing, property management, real estate development, or related commercial industries preferred.

Previous experience in security technology sales or digital monitoring solutions is a strong plus but not mandatory.

Skilled at consultative selling—listening carefully to client needs, articulating complex solutions clearly, and building long-term relationships.

Comfortable managing multiple accounts and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and follow-through.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at various organizational levels.

Proficient with CRM tools and sales tracking/reporting.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required.
Compensation:

Base salary: $60,000 annually

Uncapped commission with On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $100,000–$120,000
