Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Help design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.Ensure a high level of test coverage for critical business functionalities.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement testing tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality engineering process.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization. Implement and enforce best practices to streamline the testing and quality engineering processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to ensure a unified approach to quality.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality engineering. Prepare and present reports on the effectiveness and efficiency of quality engineering efforts.
  • Identify and manage risks related to quality engineering activities. Proactively address potential issues to ensure the delivery of high-quality .
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality engineering. Encourage a culture of continuous learning within the quality engineering team.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • In-depth Knowledge of quality engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Expertise in testing concepts, test automation tools, and frameworks.
  • Advanced Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, development lifecycle, and industry standards.
  • Expertise in defining and tracking KPIs related to quality engineering.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
  • Ability to provide leadership and guidance to the quality engineering team.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
  • Strong communication skills to present findings and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to develop and execute quality engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and manage risks related to quality engineering activities.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative environment and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior team members to foster skill development and career growth.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Min:  Highschool diploma with 3+ years of Experience
  • Knowledge of quality engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Expertise in testing concepts, test automation tools, and frameworks.
  • Advanced understanding of CI/CD pipelines, development lifecycle, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to junior team members.
  • Ability to assist multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for staying updated with industry trends and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree In computer Science with 4+ years of experience in quality engineering, testing, or a related field.
  • Certifications in relevant testing tools, Linux, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
  • Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
