TAT Greensboro is looking for a qualified Operations Cell Lead. This position will oversee and perform services as described below. Possess extensive knowledge of Landing Gears and components. Perform at a high level of efficiency, decision making and energy. Possess Integrity as an individual and employee. Someone who is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established.
This is a First shift position. Starting salary, depending heavily on experience and certification is between $54,080 to $58,240.
This important position must be able to perform the following duties:
- Take full accountability for the performance and outcomes of your assigned cell.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate Tier Board status, ensuring clear visibility of priorities and progress.
- Own issue resolution within the cell, working proactively to solve problems and escalating when necessary to remove roadblocks.
- Ensure all tasks and deliverables are completed on time, meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
- Lead by example in driving operational discipline, team collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment related to area.
- Responsible for communicating with other departments to meet task.
- Responsible for time & attendance for each technician in the department.
- Responsible for segregation of airworthy and non-airworthy parts and FAA and non-FAA components.
- Write technical and accurate reports as needed.
- Accurately complete work orders, BOMs, data inputs within ERP system.
- Read, understand and comply with Commercial, FAA, EASA, Repair Station, ITAR and ISO documentations.
- Understand and practice safe and efficient productive use of tools.
- Mentor and train other personnel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED minimum.
- Reading, writing and comprehension of the English language.
- Technical school courses in mechanic or machinist classes preferred.
- FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license or equivalent certification preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and metal work required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience required.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and discretion.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Quantum preferred.
- Read and adhere to verbal and written instructions.
- Make basic decisions and work with deadlines while understanding pressure. Work with people and communicate (both oral and written communication) with other personnel and management effectively.
- Organizational skills.
