Job Description

We are looking for energetic, driven, adaptable, proactive, creative, client focused applicants who want to be a dynamic team player. If you have a little or a lot of Medicare Part D experience we want to talk with you. Upon hiring, you will begin training on our proprietary software applications. The Medicare Part D Implementation Associate will be responsible for all program related activities and project management of Part D claims processing. This position will be the primary point of contact for Medicare Part D products and focused on new client onboarding through exceptional customer service, a proactive approach, and resourcefulness. The Medicare Part D Implementation Specialist will work collaboratively with other central departments to solve for complex problems, ensure all deliverables are timely and accurate, and program needs are being met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Candidate must be able to logically evaluate claims for proper payment and make sure the desired benefits goals are met.
  • Candidate must be willing to think outside box to provide solutions to complex client requests.
  • Assist with new group implementations.
  • Assist with timelines to track implementation deliverables.
  • Assist with client meeting documentation.
  • Use active listening to identify nuances in client business needs.
  • Serve as a secondary point contact for new clients.
  • Provide ideas and suggestions to internal and external clients for improved processes.
  • Conduct client training on applications.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates Degree / Pharmacy Certification preferred
  • Medicare Part D experience and knowledge
  • 1-2 years pharmacy experience desired; additional healthcare industry experience a plus.
  • FirstData Bank and MediSpan drug hierarchy is very useful but not required
  • Project management knowledge a plus but not required
  • Microsoft excel experience required.
  • Highly organized and motivated, with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise logical and critical thinking in problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for learning and technology.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires sitting, standing, and occasional light lifting.
