Maintenance Tech (PT Weekends)

OBJECTIVE: To maintain the hotel’s guest and in-house areas in accordance with the standards by performing preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs, and fixtures. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and circuit issues from distributions to service points.
• Replace and program televisions as needed.
• Make repairs to the hotel air conditioning system: change filters, clean coils, and replace motors.

• Perform furniture repair.
• Perform plumbing repairs (i.e., clogged drains, replace washers, change handles, drain fittings, changing toilet seats, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
• Test, clean, and basic repairs for swimming pools and spas.
• Paint designated areas.
• Responding to and completing guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Performing well under pressure situations with time demands
• Work on daily Maintenance projects

Qualifications

• Technical and Mechanical experience
• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Self-Motivated
• HVAC training preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to push, pull, grasp, lift, or carry supplies, equipment or tools weighing up to 50lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced and customer service-orientated environment; to perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Overall Reliable

• Evening shift - 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (may vary)
• Weekends
