Multi-Family Millwork Estimator

A Carter Lumber Multi-Family Millwork Estimator is responsible for performing material take-offs and bids specifically for millwork products, with a focus on multi-family construction projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of millwork and construction industry concepts, practices, and procedures. Requirements:

• Understanding of multi-family construction and millwork standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifically for millwork components
• Experience in multi-family construction and millwork estimating
• Experience in millwork sales or building material sales
• Familiarity with professional estimating software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• This will be an onsite position at our location in Statesboro, GA

Responsibilities:

Estimating

• Conduct material take-offs and bids for millwork components in multi-family designs using various blueprints in a timely manner
• Review construction documents to determine materials required for bids
• Identify and correct potential inaccuracies in material lists

Field Support

• Collaborate directly with outside sales representatives regarding all aspects of blueprints
• Provide updates on the status of take-offs and assist Outside Sales Representatives/Installed Sales Manager in selling millwork-related projects
