BGS is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join the Industrial Engineering Team in Jacksonville, Florida.  This role will support Modification, Repair, and Overhaul work.  This position is in a manufacturing environment as part of the P-8A Industrial Engineering Team. In the role you will directly support operations and manufacturing by analyzing operational data, providing recommendations, and sequencing work.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry or Associate Industrial Engineer. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Applies industrial engineering techniques and concepts to improve schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality, through the application of Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts for large scale systems integration and asset utilization
• Manages, defines, negotiates, and controls the scope, cost, and timing of projects, and performs risk analysis using project management tools (e.g., work break-down structure, precedence network, resource allocation). Provides support to project completion
• Uses engineering methods (e.g., mathematical models, simulation, statistics) to support the development of optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources (e.g., facilities, personnel, materials, equipment) in the creation and validation of products
• Analyzes and designs value stream, including capability, capacity (e.g., make/buy, supplier selection, risk analysis, supplier performance), throughput, workflow and logistics (e.g., critical path, lead-time, transportation, factory layout)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• Experience with process improvement and lean manufacturing
• Experience with data analysis
• Ability to ascend and descend aircraft entry stairs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 2+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
• Active Security Clearance
• Ability to effectively communicate with engineering peers, management, and non-engineering support staff
• Experience developing executable schedules and precedence networks to drive standard work
• Experience analyzing complex production systems and using data analysis and or lean manufacturing principles to identify and remove waste

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range Entry Level: $60,350 - $81,650

Summary pay range Associate Level: $72,250 - $97,750
