Production Operator

Job Summary

Assists the production line where needed including, but not limited to, machine operation, quality verification, packaging, housekeeping & forklift operation.

Essential Duties

• Time management and communication skills are a must.
• Inspect and install film rolls & make film splices according to standard operating procedure.
• Assist in web breaks, lacing machine and product changes.
• Troubleshoot/diagnose machine issues and take corrective action with guidance of the Group Lead.
• Maintains work area in neat and orderly condition per housekeeping procedures for the department.
• Operates forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate packaging equipment and install packaging materials in compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Complete product testing in accordance with product specification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Demonstrated understanding of processes, equipment, and product specifications.
• Must have ability to work in the U.S. without current/future need for GAF visa sponsorship.

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Hourly Rate: $28.57
