Job Description

Duties Include:

  • Develops and maintains relationship with potential and existing customers.
  • Identifies and locates new customers through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
  • Applies knowledge of the product and product features to match product needs of the customers.
  • Provides information and design Air Cleaner/Dust Collector systems as needed, prepares quotes and/or submittals, credit terms, and other specifications to customers.
  • Negotiates price, terms of sale, makes sales away from the place of business, prepares and submits orders.
  • Frequent field trips to territories and completion of administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided, answers questions and handles complaints.

Job Location and Hours:

  • The position is located at 2009 S West St, Wichita, KS 67213
  • This is a non-exempt position; normal schedule is Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

Requirements & Competencies:

  • Minimum of three years field sales experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to drive and maintain valid driver's license.
  • Must have a personal vehicle / reliable transportation.
  • Daily travel up to 80% and overnight travel 1-2 times per month
  • Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to organize work assignments and handle multiple projects & priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • The successful candidate must reside in or be able to relocate to the Wichita area.
