Position Overview:
The Reporting Analyst- Oracle will serve as a liaison and subject matter expert in the Oracle Fusion applications, collaborating with business teams, IT professionals and software vendors to ensure effective utilization and alignment of the software with business objectives. This position requires an understanding of business reporting needs within Oracle Fusion and includes responsibilities across data mapping, reporting support and quarterly upgrades.
This role is based in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and will require a minimum of two days per week in the office and be available for projects in the office as needed. Travel required, at times, domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities:
Hours: Monday- Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Generating data and reporting requirements to support solution design and future business requirements
Assist with data mapping between current database table structures and the Oracle Fusion data tables
Create business reports, info tiles, and related dashboards with Oracle Fusion
Design and implement custom reports using Oracle Fusion reporting tools to address company needs and improve frequency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting
Maintain expert product knowledge and use an analytical approach to identifying opportunities for enhancements; understand the Oracle out-of-the-box standard reporting options
Maintain custom reports, dashboard, and info tiles throughout quarterly upgrades; develop test scripts and manage execution
Create and maintain standards and controls around productivity metrics and reporting for consistency across the department; maintain documentation for report creation and procedures
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to assess reports, performance, user engagement, and impacts on business outcomes
Assist users with personalization, mobile features, report scheduling, and processing
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Combination of education and experience in project management, learning and development/training experience as noted below:
Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business Administration or similar area of study with 2-4 years of experience
Associate degree with 4-6 years of experience
High School Diploma or equivalency with 8-10 years of experience
Ability to build custom Oracle reports for multiple modules
Excellent problem solving skills with experience in solutioning and troubleshooting
Strong analytical skills and ability to thing in a complex and rapidly changing environment
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
Extensive experience in working with reporting software, including knowledge of SQL and basic table structures
Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa
Deep understanding of corporate reporting standards
Project management skills to coordinate and oversee reporting strategies for current and future implementations
Training and presentation skills to effectively educate and support employees in utilizing the dashboards, info tiles, and reports
Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to identify process inefficiencies and propose effective solutions
Proficient in Office 365 Suite with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
Competent system experience in WinDECs, MicroStrategy
Experience with productivity tools: SmartSheets Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Sigma, Python, R, SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the electronic component distribution industry
Strong knowledge of DigiKey brand and its principles
Physical Requirements:
Work is primarily performed at a desk and/or in an office environment for 3/4 of the day and up
The office noise level in the work environment is typically, moderate
Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse, and screen
Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is:
$68,000
to
$94,000
Many factors influence the determination of base pay within a range, including the candidate's work experience in related roles; the candidate's knowledge, skills, capabilities, and performance; the relative pay of other DigiKey employees in similar roles; and the budget available for the position.
