Join Save More Marketplace as a Dairy & Frozen Supervisor and take charge of our dedicated team in one of the most essential departments of our store! Since 1959, we have been providing our community with high-quality products, and as a Dairy & Frozen Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our dairy and frozen goods meet the highest standards of quality and availability. You will oversee the daily operations of the department, manage inventory, and lead your team to ensure that customers have access to a diverse selection of fresh and frozen products. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the dairy and frozen foods department, including product displays and organization.
- Ensure product quality and freshness, monitoring expiration dates and stock rotation.
- Lead and train team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Manage inventory, placing orders and receiving deliveries as necessary to maintain stock levels.
- Engage with customers, addressing their questions and providing recommendations.
- Implement and uphold safety and sanitation standards in the department.
- Analyze sales trends and adjust product selection and promotions to maximize sales.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in retail management is preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience in a dairy or frozen foods department is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of dairy and frozen product standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
