Dispatcher

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Corpus Christi, an affiliate of Authority Brands Inc., has been in operation for almost 40 years and is the premier heating and cooling specialist in the area. We are hiring a Dispatcher who will schedule technician appointments and facilitate communication between technicians, customers, and the company.

Schedule:

• Sunday 9am-6pm
• Monday-Thursday 12pm-9pm
• Off every Friday and Saturday!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the service technician schedules and dispatch technicians as service calls are completed.
• Schedule technicians' return trips with customers to complete jobs after arrival of parts.
• Maintain on call schedule for service technician and after-hours service procedures.
• Enter service calls, schedule calls, and generate call debriefing with technicians daily.
• Maintain customer database, ensuring complete, accurate, and updated entry of information.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding company schedule, requested lead times, equipment services, invoicing, and general inquiries.
• Respond to service technician requests both by radio and phone.
• Follow up and schedule preventative maintenance service appointments.
• Review completed service work orders for accuracy.
• Prepare invoices and timecards for processing.
• Participate in all company sponsored training classes.
• Effectively manage conflict resolution with clients through clear communication and addressing all concerns, questions, or problems expediently.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Dispatcher experience greatly preferred.
• HVAC industry or other trade industry experience a huge plus!
• Excellent communication and listening skills required.
• Focus on maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates required.
• Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures a must.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
