Senior Business Analyst - Integration Support, (Hybrid, WA)

Job Description

NOTE: This position is offered as a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA area. You must be willing to work in office at the Nordstrom Seattle office a minimum of 3 days/week to be considered for this position.

The Business Analyst Sr is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, leveraging deep domain knowledge and analysis skills to drive product evolution through data analysis, issue triage, root cause analysis, requirement definition, user acceptance testing, and feature delivery support. The Analyst is responsible for ensuring that we deeply understand our current system/process ecosystem and are able to apply this knowledge to net new feature development to ensure that we build the right features for our customers within the context of the larger system/process landscape. The Analyst is always curious, understands how process and technology changes fit into the company strategy and applies this knowledge to deliver business value through feature delivery and product support.

A day in the life…

• Develop functional expertise within the Nordstrom (JWN) Data Integration Domain
• Business requirements: Collaborate across the enterprise to gather business requirements and use cases to be translated into functional specifications
• Data Solutions: Partner with product managers and business leaders to establish key metrics or success measures and to promote standard work and data governance
• Process and data mapping: Co-design, document and analyze existing or proposed processes, systems and/or data concepts
• Testing: Lead test script development, test planning and user acceptance testing
• Analysis: Conduct data-driven analyses, create and use reporting tools to provide actionable, timely and accurate insights of system and business health
• Communication: Update stakeholders and project teams on progress, issues and risks before, during, and after development and implementation
• Incident Support: Partner with cross functional teams to provide post deployment issue management and support
• Expertise: Able to serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs

You own this if you have…

• Minimum 5+ years' business or systems analysis experience
• Bachelors' degree in math, statistics, finance, economics, or related quantitative discipline is preferred
• Experience in Retail Planning, Inventory Optimization, or Retail Inventory Management is preferred
• Data Querying, Analysis, and Visualization skill is preferred
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Rithum and Mirakl a plus

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations.

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$80,000.00 - $132,000.00 Annual

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
