Human Resources Service Center Representative I

We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented Human Resources (HR) Service Center Representative to join our dynamic HR team. This entry-level role offers an exceptional opportunity to begin a fulfilling career in Human Resources. As part of a Tiered support environment, this individual will be responsible for addressing a broad range of HR inquiries, escalating complex issues appropriately, and supporting key HR processes across the organization.

The position is ideal for those looking to build a strong foundation in HR by gaining exposure to diverse functional areas such as benefits, payroll, onboarding, policy administration, compliance, and HR systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers seeking HR-related information, guidance, and assistance.
• Respond to inquiries related to benefits, compensation, payroll, employee data, policies, and procedures with professionalism and accuracy.
• Document and resolve cases or escalate to Tier 2 or Tier 3 specialists when necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Maintain accurate case records and knowledge base articles to promote consistency and quality service.
• Collaborate with internal HR teams to continuously improve service delivery and employee experience.
• Educate employees on available HR tools and resources to promote self-service.
• Participate in HR-related projects, process improvements, and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of customer service experience; prior experience in an HR environment is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy and problem-solving.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• Comfortable navigating HRIS systems, knowledge bases, and case management tools.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the HR field.

Pay Range:

• $17.16 - $25.38/hr.
