Job Description:
A facility in Kittery, ME is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality healthcare services in a military clinical environment. This is a civilian, contracted position that offers the opportunity to support our active-duty service members and their families in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
This is a 1-year contract, with the possibility to extend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to a variety of patient populations, including pediatric and adult.
- Execute clinical tasks using appropriate judgment and following established policies.
- Observe and assess patients’ conditions and report relevant changes promptly.
- Prepare and administer medications by various routes (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous).
- Assist in managing emergencies under the direction of an RN and/or physician.
- Support the execution of diagnostic tests and specialized clinical procedures.
- Educate patients and families regarding health maintenance and medication administration.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree: Certificate
- Education: Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program recognized by the appropriate state agency and accredited by the Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in primary care or pediatric immunizations (within the last 3 years)
- 2 years preferred
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in any U.S. state or territory
