Job Overview:

The Pool City Non CDL Commercial Driver is responsible for the efficient transportation of product to retail store locations and customers' homes. No overnight.

Responsibilities:

  • Properly secure loads and assure loads are within weight limits and properly placarded.
  • Unload or assist in unloading in a safe manner using proper equipment
  • Operate safely and within all federal and state government regulations.
  • Comply with all Department of Transportation standards and regulations.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, walk, and move and lift 75+ pound items with proper equipment.
  • Ensure good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and acting in a courteous and

professional manner.

  • When needed assist with inventory control and movement, maintaining facility, vehicles and equipment as

well as display/show/hot tub deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • A clean driving record and current DOT medical card.
  • Minimum of three-year experience safely operating a commercial vehicle.
  • A working knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations
  • You must be able to pass a background check, drug test and MVR
  • Must be punctual, dependable, professional, and willing to follow instructions concerning any

transportation functions.

  • Ability to operate a simple Windows based software system, email, and internet
  • Ability to work in an environment where there may be some variance in temperature, dust, & noise level.
  • High school diploma.
  • Fork truck experience a plus, but not required.
