Where will your abilities really make an impact? Right here, in our Vermont Field Service Repair Center, where you'll provide critical service of customer instruments. This includes repair, calibration and preventative maintenance of Product Line XB (BioTek) and Product Line XA (ACEA) instruments. Working in this role you will be responsible for the receipt, inspections, repair and testing, of customer owned and internal instruments. You will be working with other members of the Vermont Field Service Center team as well as other teams on site. Other duties and responsibilities of this role may include:

  • Calibrate and repair Agilent products
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Work closely with team members to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
  • Be proactive in your daily tasks
  • Be able to operate with limited supervision
  • Use time-management skills to successfully balance workload
  • Performs a variety of calibration, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair duties related to instruments in GMP manufacturing, utility and laboratory areas.
  • Service is performed on Agilent products and/or products manufactured by another company.
  • Responsible for support activities including emergency repairs, spare parts and electronic asset management system.
  • Work is typically performed at an Agilent site or repair/refurbishment center but occasionally is performed at a customer location.
  • Interprets customer requirements and potential needs to meet customer satisfaction goals.
  • May coordinate with external calibration service providers.

Qualifications

  • Requires higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically at least 1+ years of relevant experience for entry to this level.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $21.73 - $33.95/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
