Job Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The IAM/IGA Engineer manages and maintains Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) systems to ensure secure access control and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. This position designs, implements, and supports our IAM/IGA platform to automate the organizations eLCM(Joiner, Mover, Leaver) user cases and access certifications. The IAM/IGA Engineer collaborates with team members, stakeholders and IT staff to support the day-to-day business operations. The IAM/IGA provides support for IAM/IGA tools, configurations, and integrations with other systems and applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for platform configuration and management to ensure it meets the Banks business needs, security and compliance requirements.
Integrate and configure the platform with existing IT infrastructure, including but not limited to APIs, databases, applications and systems.
Utilize the IAM/IGA systems to integrate and configure the platform, ensuring efficient management of user identities and access permissions.
Ensure only authorized individuals have access to applications, systems, sensitive information, implement (RBAC) role-based access control, (SOD) separation of duties (JIT) just in time provisioning and least privilege principles to minimize security risks.
Configure the platform to enforce standards, process, procedures and security policies related to identity, access management, governance and compliance.
Implement platform configurations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as SOX, GLBA, PCI, PII and other relevant financial regulations.
Monitor and respond to security incidents related to identity and access management.
Ensure the platform is set up to automate and generate reports for regular audits and assessments, identifying and mitigating potential security risks while providing analytics on user access and compliance status.
Maintain the user lifecycle management including automating user provisioning and de-provisioning processes to streamline onboarding and offboarding, while effectively managing user lifecycle events such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve security posture and compliance.
Work closely with HR, IT, security, risk, audit, compliance and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with the banks goals and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical support and training as needed.
Stay updated on the latest IAM/IGA trends and technologies to continuously improve the platform and Implement best practices for IAM/IGA to enhance security and efficiency.
Implement best practices to adopt a scalable and flexible IAM/IGA solution that evolves with the organization, including leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance identity governance, detect unusual activities, and maintain system resilience by minimizing excessive customization and complexity.
The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Completes required Annual BSA AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Technical degree required in such disciplines as Computer Engineering, CPA, etc. 12 - 18 months related experience and/or training.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and understand common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents; Ability to respond to complex or difficult inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED
Advanced: Human Resources Systems, Spreadsheet,
Intermediate: 10-Key, Accounting, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Database, Presentation/PowerPoint, Programming Languages, Word Processing/Typing, Other
Basic: Contact Management
WORKING CONDITIONS
