Environmental Services Technician – Healthcare Janitorial Services
📍 Location: Phoenix, AZ | 📆 Schedule: Nights (Wednesday-Saturday, 5:30PM - 3:00AM)
💰 $18.00 – $21.00 per hour + Full Benefits

As an Environmental Services Technician (EVS Tech) at Mind 24-7, you’ll play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and healing space for patients, staff, and visitors. In addition to maintaining strict sanitation protocols throughout the facility, you’ll support our nutrition services team by restocking snacks and heating prepackaged meals for patients.

Your Role & Impact
🧹 Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, disinfecting furniture, and sanitizing high-touch areas
🗑️ Empty trash receptacles in patient and staff areas following behavioral health safety protocols
🚿 Clean recliners, windows, tables, and restrooms to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
📦 Replenish janitorial supplies and restock paper products as needed
🍽️ Support patient nutrition by organizing snacks, heating meals, and logging refrigerator/freezer temperatures
🧼 Sanitize countertops, sinks, and dispose of expired food in nutrition areas
📞 Respond to emergency cleanup requests and support staff via walkie-talkie communication
🌿 Conduct daily exterior walkthroughs to maintain a clean facility appearance
🧍♂️ Interact professionally with patients, staff, and visitors, contributing to a positive healing environment
📋 Follow all OSHA, ADHS, and CARF standards for safety and compliance
What We’re Looking For
✔️ High School Diploma or GED (required)
✔️ Valid Arizona Driver’s License (required)
✔️ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain
✔️ Experience in environmental services, janitorial work, or healthcare cleaning preferred
✔️ Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and disinfectants
✔️ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
✔️ Food Handler’s Card preferred or willingness to obtain
✔️ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
