Job Description
CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country’s largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. CTDI has over 11,000 FT US Employees in over 60 world class US Operations. CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.
In this role, you will provide services to the world’s largest telecommunications and cable providers. The ideal CTDI team members should have experience assembling desktops and servers, including diagnostics skills to troubleshoot errors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble Desktops/Servers
- Populating and depopulating motherboard components including, but not limited to, DIMM sticks, PCI Cards, CPUs, and assorted cables.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics
- Execute varying diagnostics, including navigating system folders and find the output log files, then interpreting the data within the logs to determine exactly what has failed.
- Escalate errors to Repair Techs, ensuring they receive the necessary information to repair a unit in a timely manner.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with technician level equipment (Multi Meter)
- An understanding of test script output is required (C# coding language)
- Knowledge of PowerShell
- Ability to troubleshoot Command Prompt based output
- The ability to use Multi-Meters to probe components is plus.

Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Warehouse environment.
- Stand dynamically for long periods.
- Use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel; the ability to type, pick, pinch with fingers, seize, hold, grasp or turn with hands.
- Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Push and/or pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Reach up and out with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to climb stairs or ladders.
