Job Description

The Legacy of Southpointe is seeking Resident Aides to join our RA to Med Tech Program. Qualified RAs will be provided with free training along with the necessary tools to become a Certified Medication Technician. At Navion our Resident Aides are responsible for delivering high-quality resident care and support in a cutting-edge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. This is a RA to Med Tech track position; meaning the applicant is expected to be able to pass the class and operate as a Med Tech.

This is a Full-Time opportunity on 2nd shift to work with a great team in supporting our residents!

Requirements

  • Active CNA license in good standing
  • 1-year minimum experience as a CNA, employed for a continuous 365 days in a SNF, ALF, or PACE
  • No more than two jobs as a CNA over the last 365 days

Addition requirements

  • Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills
  • Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment are keys to success
  • High School diploma/GED accepted and may be required per state regulations
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred
  • Ability to make choices, decisions and act in the resident’s best interest
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
