X-Ray Operator In Training

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Limited Scope Operator-in-Training. No prior X-ray certification? No problem - we will train you!

Our comprehensive training program includes:

• Hands-on curriculum focused on X-ray imaging, laboratory procedures, and being a clinical assistant in the Shakopee Clinic

• Off-site training opportunities as they become available

This is a paid clinical opportunity - perfect for those looking to launch or grow a healthcare career. You will have one year to complete the required coursework and pass the exam to become a licensed full-time X-ray operator.

Responsibilities:

• Perform X-rays under supervision while completing training and until licensure is obtained
• Assist providers and clinic staff with clinical procedures and patient care
• Measures patient statistics and vitals, including height, weight, blood pressure, vision, or performs a urine analysis dip.
• Obtain blood and urine specimens for laboratory processing
• Fulfills clerical duties as assigned, including sending and receiving patient medical records, obtaining lab and X-ray reports, and completing/sending employer paperwork.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and verifies insurance coverage and patient demographics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Provide excellent patient support and contribute to a positive clinic environment

This is a full-time opportunity based at our Shakopee MOH Campus. Qualified candidates must be flexible to float to other MOH sites as needed (St. Paul-Midway, Woodbury, Eagan, and Coon Rapids). Current schedule is Monday- Friday, 7:30am- 4:00pm (subject to change).

Summit's hiring range for this position is $17.52 to $21.90 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation.
