Job Description

Systems Administrator

Chantilly, VA.

Mandatory Skills:

- Demonstrated experience with system administration in Windows & Linux/Centos Server environment.

- Demonstrated professional experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and tuning performance parameters in the Apache/Tomcat Java Webserver environment.

- Demonstrated professional experience defining, requesting, configuring, and monitoring Cloud server architectures to include Amazon Web Server EC2, RDBS, S3, and Elastic Load Balancer, Route 53 in a Tier 3 support environment.

- Demonstrated professional experience developing and implementing system upgrades.

- Demonstrated experience identifying technical risks and risk mitigation strategies,

-Demonstrated experience providing Operations & Maintenance, Tier 1-3 Support

- Demonstrated customer relationship management skills.

- Demonstrated experience creating and updating procedures e.g., Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Optional Skills:

- Demonstrated experience using Agile management systems and methods such as Kanban or Scrum.

-Demonstrated experience working in the DevSecOps environment e.g., CI/CD pipeline, cloudformation.

- Demonstrated experience utilizing CLIs with Windows, AWS and Linux environments.

- Demonstrated experience moving systems through the accreditation and authorization (A&A) process and monitoring for compliance.

- Demonstrated experience with gathering evidence to support the A&A process e.g., POA&Ms.

- Demonstrated professional experience installing and configuring the Moodle Learning Management System.

- Demonstrate experience with Database engineering, development and administration.
