Express Employment is seeking an experienced Grinder for a 1st Shift position in Toledo, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating grinding machines and a commitment to producing high-quality finished products.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate grinding machines according to specifications and work orders
- Monitor grinding processes to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Adjust machine settings to achieve desired surface finishes and dimensions
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using measuring tools
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the grinding process
- Perform regular maintenance on grinding equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Grinder in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of grinding machine operations and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and communicate clearly
