Senior Digital Developer

The Senior Developer will be an integral part of the Formica Marketing Team reporting to the North American Director of Marketing Technology. This role will own our website properties from a development standpoint, including building new CMS functionality, managing cross-functional technology integrations, and supporting a best-in-class e-commerce experience. This role will partner across our organization both within North America and globally to drive technical solutions, particularly between Marketing, Creative Services, Product, and IT.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working in Sitecore at a technical level, enjoy working in a collaborative team, and have a strong attention to detail.

Job Description:

This position reports to the North American Director of Marketing Technology. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide technical leadership and utilize expertise in Sitecore development, customization, and integration to implement and customize Sitecore solutions for 27 different websites globally.
• Conduct architectural reviews and code audits to ensure adherence to best-in-class standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead the design and implementation of Sitecore-based solutions for Broadview Materials companies across the globe ensuring alignment with business requirements and security best practices.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including marketing teams, sales teams, and IT teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
• Provide technical leadership to external development teams managing them in Sitecore development, customization, and integration to ensure alignment against business priorities and best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including cross-functional architecture diagrams, design specifications, and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Sitecore features, updates, and industry trends to continuously enhance our solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Sitecore implementations with urgency to ensure business continuity and 99.9% uptime.
• Participate in global cross-functional meetings and presentations, providing technical expertise and recommendations.
• Manage integration between key platforms like BigCommerce, Salsify, WebDAM, Salesforce, and others.
• Miscellaneous projects as assigned.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sitecore development and architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Sitecore XP, Sitecore JSS, and Sitecore SXA.
• Sitecore certification(s) and ability to pass proficiency test required.
• Experience with .NET, C#, and front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with modern web frameworks such as Node, React, JVue, or Angular
• Demonstrable experience applying microservices principles, design, and architecture patterns
• Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
• Familiarity and experience with common CI/CD toolsets
• Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable, high-performance Sitecore solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Occasional travel to U.S. domestic locations and Canada and Mexico.
