A Brief Overview
The Director of Talent Acquisition (TA) will manage a large, complex client portfolio with a high-volume requisition volume to attract and hire the talent we need to realize our potential. The role will oversee the development and execution of innovative recruitment strategies and programs to attract the workforce of the future while developing a high-performance recruiting team to consistently deliver exceptional experiences. The Director of Talent Acquisition is a thought leader in candidate attraction and recruitment, utilizing external market intelligence and internal data to help shape the future of how we attract our workforce at CHOP.
What you will do
- Develops and leads high-level client recruiting strategies that align to the department's goals and the organization's enterprise strategic plan. Continually evaluates the effectiveness of recruitment approaches/programs and revises according.
- Oversees a team of agile, innovative TA leaders and recruitment professionals, keeping engagement and growth top of mind. Builds the team's consultative skills and credibility such that TA is recognized as a trusted advisor.
- Partners closely with TA and HR centers of excellence, maintaining strong relationships with key partners, influencing as appropriate.
- Maintains close relationship with CHOP leaders, including Vice Presidents and above, across all clients.
- Actively utilizes data, analytics, and reporting to interpret recruiting trends and proactively create solutions to overcome areas of opportunity. Holds team accountable to execute solutions while leveraging data-driven decision making.
- Champions upgrades and changes to TA processes, systems, and programs with an eye toward continual advancement and innovation.
- Partners with clients and HR business partner leaders to forecast client workforce needs based on internal and external data, trends, and analytics. Works with team to create recruitment strategies in anticipation of needs.
- Uses effective storytelling to ensure clients are aware of key metrics, accomplishments, new programs/processes, and opportunities.
- Actively contributes as a member of the HR leadership team, positively impacting the HR community of practice. Participates in enterprise and departmental initiatives in support of the enterprise strategic plan.
- Ensures that team members are realizing their full potential, including utilizing all resources available to them across TA.
- Creates and maintains an environment in which staff feels valued, appreciated, and recognized. Continually evaluates team engagement and actively participates in advancing the TA and HR culture.
- Develops and leads team, client, and HR trainings and meetings as appropriate.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree- Required
Experience Qualifications
- At least ten (10) years of Talent Acquisition experience- Required
- At least five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in Talent Acquisition- Required
Skills and Abilities
- Broad experience in leading recruitment across multiple verticals (clinical and non-clinical roles). (Required proficiency)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources/Talent Acquisition professionals. (Required proficiency)
- Proficient with recruiting processes and Talent Acquisition systems. (Required proficiency)
- Strong understanding of recruitment data, metrics, and analytics. (Required proficiency)
- Strategic thinking and planning skills. (Required proficiency)
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. (Required proficiency)
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills. (Required proficiency)
- Strong business acumen. (Required proficiency)

SALARY RANGE:
$100,000.00 - $375,000.00 Annually
Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
