Short Summary.
Quanex is looking for a Punch Press Machinist to join our team on 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday, 3:30PM - 2:00AM, located in Owatonna, MN.
In this role you are responsible for setting up and operating all power-driven punch presses while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity

What Success Looks Like:
- Able to exercise judgement in determining the quality of parts, analyzing quality problems.
- Operate punch press in punching, countersinking, bending and cutting in the production of steel parts.
- Make necessary adjustments to press, feeder, and straightener as necessary to facilitate production of quality parts.
- Monitor the safe working conditions of equipment and the work area within the cell and taking corrective actions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with different teams to ensure seamless operations.
What You Bring:
- Experience in manufacturing operations preferred.
- Experience using common hand tools, various types of measuring instruments, and operating a power hoist.
- The hourly wage for this position is $21.00, plus $1 shift differential
