ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists students on a one-to-one or small-group basis to provide learning assistance.
- Collaborates with instructors to assess the students' needs and how best to address them.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Completion of a particular course in which assisting is being done with earning at least a "B" from a higher education institution.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ease in relating to people from varying educational, cultural, and social backgrounds.
- Strong level of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
- A copy of unofficial transcripts must be uploaded with application.
