Manager Of Solutions Engineering

Job Description Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Manager of Solutions Engineering to lead a team that designs and delivers tailored LTL solutions for our customers. This role is critical in bridging the gap between pricing, sales, linehaul, operations, and technology-ensuring that our solutions are not only innovative but also operationally and financially sound and scalable.

Critical Job Functions:

• Lead and mentor a team of solutions engineers focused on developing customized LTL transportation strategies.
• Collaborate with sales, pricing, linehaul, and operations teams to design efficient, cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Oversee the development of tools, models, and dashboards that support solution design and performance tracking.
• Analyze shipment data and network performance to identify optimization opportunities.
• Leverage performance reporting to identify opportunities to control costs and meet operational and service objectives.
• Identify and remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful attainment of process improvements that will lead to cost reduction, operational improvements, and competitive advantage.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in transportation or logistics engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of LTL operations, linehaul network design, and freight movement optimization.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Travel to service centers to assist in implementation of products and solutions.

Compensation:

• The estimated compensation for this role is $100,000 to $140,000 per year.
