Job Description
Essentia Health is seeking a physical therapist to join our team at our outpatient therapy department located at Essentia Health-Sandstone.
In this position, the PT will:
- Receive a $5,000 bonus, competitive pay and benefits, advancement opportunities through a career ladder, and moving expense reimbursement if eligible
- Primarily treat adult patients across the lifespan, with occasional inpatient care within the 10-bed hospital facility. Patients primarily have orthopedic and/or neuro-musculoskeletal conditions
- Work with a rehabilitation team consisting of PT/PTA/OT/SLPs who work closely with both clinic and hospital care teams
- Have a flexible schedule, either five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days
- Provide coverage as part of a weekend call and holiday call rotation
- This position is open to students in their final year of training, they can receive a monthly stipend for a maximum of 12 months before the official start date

Essentia Health-Sandstone, opened in 2017, is a modern nine-bed Critical Access Hospital, offering robust services including PT, OT and SLP inpatient and outpatient care. The hospital is conveniently located off the I-35 Sandstone exit and is a Level IV Trauma Center and is an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital.
Certification/Licensure Requirements:
