Job Description
A well-established concrete construction and landscape products manufacturer is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic for their facility in Roberts, WI. With over 75 years of experience, this company is a recognized industry leader whose products support the development of communities across the country.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel-powered equipment
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and complete proper documentation
- Respond to emergency equipment failures and execute necessary repairs
- Carry out steel fabrication and welding tasks as needed
- Read and interpret technical manuals for maintenance and repair work
- Use a variety of tools and equipment including meters, welders, and material handling gear
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces
- Source parts and supplies, and install components on machinery
- Communicate with vendors to manage equipment maintenance and installations
- Coordinate with internal teams to schedule maintenance and repairs
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in diesel mechanics
- Proficient in hydraulic systems, mechanical repairs, welding, and industrial maintenance
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and contribute effectively to a team
- Physical capability to:
- Sit, stand, walk, and climb
- Carry/lift between 10 and 40 pounds
- Squat, kneel, bend, and reach overhead
- Push and pull equipment or tools
- Willingness to work in varied conditions, including:
- Exposure to outdoor weather (hot/cold extremes)
- Proximity to moving equipment and potential noise levels
